After sorting through my makeup favorites from this year... there's too many! I'm sure most of you guys can relate, haha. I'm be splitting this section into a few separate posts, cause I don't like having super long posts myself. So here's part one of the (hopefully) makeup favorites trilogy: bases, and the little things at the end that tie everything together.
I'm changing things up a little bit by trying out different styles in writing... Usually I like to provide a (quite lengthy) mini review but I'll try to shorten things up a little bit especially since most of these products aren't new to the blog... I suppose that's the point of having these as my all-time favorites this year, though! A lot of these are featured in my everyday makeup post as well, if you'd like to read about how I use these products.

First things first
laura mercier foundation primer » I like this primer a lot 'cause it's water-based and makes my makeup blend flawlessly, compared to silicone-based primers that makes makeup look patchy. This was in my November favorites, and the version with SPF was in my September favorites.
nars sheer glow in ceylan » One of the few things that hasn't been mentioned, yet. I don't always wear foundation, but when I do I like NARS Sheer Glow. Man it took me foreveeer to find my shade (should have asked for samples but I'm a wimp), but it was worth it. Despite the name Sheer Glow, it doesn't make me look dewy at all nor is it sheer, but rather like glowing-from-within-skin.
nars radiant creamy concealer in honey » If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that this is my all-time favorite concealer. I've raved about it here and here, and repurchased it here!
bobbi brown corrector in light bisque » My ultimate dark-circle lifesaver. It's a corrector so it's meant to cancel out the darkness from underneath my eyes instead of just covering it up. Most of these come in unnatural shades when it comes to matching skin, so you'll need to use a regular concealer on top.

And now for the little details that make all the difference...
motives for lala eyebrow pencil in dark brown » For when I'm running late, which is 95% of the time. It's a no-frills eyebrow pencil - I outline the bottom of my eyebrows and extend it past the tail just a little bit, flip it over to the spoolie side to blend out, and my brows are done in seconds.
anastasia dipbrow pomade in ebony » When I have more time to spare (or when my angled brush isn't loaded with black gel liner), I go for this on my eyebrows. It's really easy to create the sharp bottom eyebrow... line that I really like, though it takes some time to blend out. A little bit goes a super long way! Also mentioned in my September favorites.
make up for ever microfinish powder » I don't know what it is, but something in this product makes it go on soooo smoothly. It's unlike any other powder I've tried. It's also nice for prepping the lashes - a little bit of powder on them stubby hairs before mascara will add lots of volume!
maybelline the falsies flared waterproof mascara » My favorite mascara, and it's drugstore! My lashes are suuuper stubborn to work with so most mascaras will only last 3 or 4 hours before smudging all over the place. It's the very first mascara I purchased, and it's probably going to be the one I'll keep going back to.
Now that I've covered the products I like to use for evening out my skin, the blushes, bronzers, and highlighters will come next. I'm going to be posting these on consecutive days because there isn't as much time as I thought there was until this year is over!
