new in | elf x ariel

First off, thank you guys so much for the positive comments in the previous post! It's good to know that I'm not the only one that gets these feelings of not wanting to do anything blog-related. Reading your comments gave me all the fuzzies, so thank you again - I'll do my best to post more often! ♥ ♥

On Sunday, I went out to buy groceries. There's an Asian supermarket that's closer to my house but the Latin supermarket further down has a much better selection for my tastes. It also happens to be across the street from Walgreens. It also just so happens that while I was catching up on Ashley's blog, I came across her review on ELF's Disney Ariel collection, which also just so happens to be exclusively sold at Walgreens.

You know what that meant?

I came home with groceries... and part of the collection. The Under The Sea Eyes and Bronzed Beauty set, to be specific.

Can we just stop for a minute and admire the packaging? It's too pretty to throw away, so I want to find some kind of use for it. But knowing me, I'll probably end up tucking it away and forgetting that I even had it.

Yes, I realize that the first picture and the rest don't have matching backgrounds. I've already taken pictures of the products and I don't want to stuff them back into the packaging to retake the first shot, haha...! Laziness at its finest, I probably shouldn't even categorize myself as a beauty blogger. BUT THAT BEING SAID, whaaaat, I actually took product pictures to review?! That's a first.

Until next post,
Becky

  4. Same here - the only thing I'm really a fan of is their eye brushes with the white handles that you can get for about a dollar each. The packaging totally drew me in too!

    I suppose it feels like a chore if you treat it like one, which I feel like I've been doing for a while. I think blogging should be creative and fun!

  5. Isn't it?! It was hard not to get everything in the collection - which I totally don't need, but it's tempting!

  6. The Little Mermaid is one of my favorites too, though I haven't watched it in a while. I really like how the packaging doesn't look toooo childish with Ariel on it~

  9. Yeah! I already used the blue/brown duo, I like it so far! Debating on doing an eotd using them, but we'll see if it actually goes up haha.

    Now if only I had a Trader Joes near where I live, then my grocery life would be complete!

  10. It does! I really like the sketchy style they did. I kinda wish I "got into" makeup long ago, I really like some of the older Disney Princess themed products from Sephora!

  14. OUTER PACKAGING TOO BEAUTIFUL ;-;
    I actually have an enormous box filled with the outer packaging from makeup. Is it irrational? Probably, BUT I DON'T CARE.
