sephora wishlist

( background texture here )

I made myself a promise that I wouldn't purchase anything new from Sephora (repurchases are ok, though) until their spring sale. Beauty products from other stores count too, but for the sake of simplicity I'm just going to say Sephora. It seems to be where I get most of my makeup, anyway. Except I failed, because I bought some things from Urban Decay recently. In my defense, they were having a sale on something that I couldn't pass up on (will blog about it later) and I needed to get something extra to bump up the cost for free shipping. Oh, the ways I try to convince myself...

For now, I'm putting items that I like into my cart and giving them some time to see if I actually want it or not. I was going to make a typical white background wishlist, but I decided to be a little more creative and go for the formatting that I usually see in magazines (fancy background included). It's not much in terms of graphics, but it's a start!

  1. I have the Tarte blush in Exposed, and it's so extremely pigmented and lasts for a really long time! I have a $30 Ulta giftcard, but I can't decide what I want to spend it on :p I was thinking of purchasing a high-end concealer or the UD Naked Basics palette. Too many choices....

    1. Yeah, I've heard tons of great things about Tarte blushes. I got a $25 Sephora gift card, though I'm trying to hold on until their sale. I'd buy everything, but that's not a very wise decision ;)

  2. I love any Benefit makeup! ♥ It's always got such cool retro packaging and the makeup itself is really good. :) You've picked some good little bits.

    1. I haven't tried a lot of Benefit makeup, but I do like the ones I have a lot. I figured the set would be good, since I've been wanting to try their Hoola bronzer and it wouldn't hurt to try their eyeshadows either.

  3. i'm trying to stay away from makeup counters too but so far i have not been doing a good job lol.. that korres jasmine lip butter sounds so lovely. i love their guava one but this one looks easier to wear since it has a bit of pink in it! and i've never noticed the tarte blush shade "dazzled," it looks really pretty :)

    1. I gave that lip butter a sniff at Sephora, it's smells mildly floral. I like their mango scent a lot better, so I'll probably swap it out. Tarte came out with some new blush shades too!

  4. I have the NAKED3 and it's pretty alright so far! I like it better than NAKED, but I don't think I like it more than NAKED2.

    1. I don't own the original Naked. I have Naked 2 but gave it to my sister since she gets more use out of it than I do - the only shades I really like are Tease, Snakebite, Pistol, and Busted... so I was thinking of purchasing it again haha. Super excited for the Naked 3 n___n

  5. The Naked 3 palette and that Tarte Amazonian Clay blush is on my wish list too! But, then again, I think Naked 3 is on EVERYONE's wish list. It looks like such a beautiful palette.

    1. Agreed - everyone pretty much went bananas over Naked 3 (including myself). I didn't even think rosey neutrals could exist :P

  6. Ahhh, I so so so want the Naked 3 palette :( If I had a sephora that sells Urban decay I'd probably get it now, but since I don't I'll justlive with the feeling that my life is incomplete :(
