wishlist #2

star violet wishlist

I planned on doing a review on the Urban Decay Naked2 Basics palette for today's post but this happened and the sun has gone down so I'll have to do another swatching sometime when good lighting is around. In the meantime, I rounded up a few of my wishlist items to share...

1. asos speech bubble beach bag | I hate to admit that I'm super out of the loop of using reusable bags for groceries. This one is super cute and I can imagine myself looking all cute and stuff, strutting out of the supermarket with this over my shoulder.

2. lush northern lights bath bomb | As huge as Lush is in the beauty blogging community, I've only tried one of their bath bombs and I loved it! It's so relaxing, even though I'm pretty much doing nothing while being lost in my own thoughts for a good 40 minutes. Northern Lights is an especially pretty one, judging from the images on Google.

3. anastasia contour kit | I see a lot of people on YouTube using this, and I really want to try it out for myself! It's not a bad price, $40 for three highlight and three contour shades. And I just realized it's LIMITED EDITION so I better get on that, fast.

4. marvy le pen marker pens - lavender purple & dark grey | I know, I know - $1.15 pens on my wishlist is a really silly thing. I currently have a lavender purple one (snagged from my sister cause she left it here before she went back to school, thanks yo) and I like it a lot. I don't know which other stores sell this pen and it's $25 for free shipping, so.... that's a lot of pens I have to buy for free shipping.

What are some of the things on your wishlist?

wishlist #1

I did a Sephora wishlist post before but whatever. This still counts as wishlist #1, cause it's on my blog so I said so ;)

1 // zara | dark blue parka with toggles △ I don't actually have a "real" winter jacket - most times I'll layer light jackets or wear my sister's old winter jacket which I don't like, but you gotta do what you gotta do when you're extra susceptible to getting cold. I'm quite picky when it comes to winter coats, but I like this one a lot!

2 // kate spadecedar street stacy in clock tower/black △ I got my mom a very similar wallet in gold (but seriously, I can't even tell the difference and they might as well put them on the same page). For Mother's Day. Two years ago. I don't think she's even used it, lol. But I like it a lot, mostly for the ID slot so I can put a cute picture of James and me in there and every time I open my wallet, I can swoon just a little bit n______n

3 // washi tape colorful triangles & ombre stripes △ Generally I like using washi tape to spice up my planner and taping my Instax pictures up - these would make a nice addition to my small collection!

4 // benefit cosmetics bronze n' dandy △ I already have a Hoola mini bronzer but I thought this one would be nice for traveling, since I depotted my current one from cardboard packaging and it's currently housed in a small Altoids tin. It would be nice to try Dandelion too, though I have no interest in the lip glosses. Still, it's a pretty good deal!

5 // sugarpill | tapered blending & crease brush △ JUST LOOK AT HOW CUTE IT IS. And I guess blending brushes are one of my favorites.

Anything you guys are wishing for?

sephora wishlist

( background texture here )

I made myself a promise that I wouldn't purchase anything new from Sephora (repurchases are ok, though) until their spring sale. Beauty products from other stores count too, but for the sake of simplicity I'm just going to say Sephora. It seems to be where I get most of my makeup, anyway. Except I failed, because I bought some things from Urban Decay recently. In my defense, they were having a sale on something that I couldn't pass up on (will blog about it later) and I needed to get something extra to bump up the cost for free shipping. Oh, the ways I try to convince myself...

For now, I'm putting items that I like into my cart and giving them some time to see if I actually want it or not. I was going to make a typical white background wishlist, but I decided to be a little more creative and go for the formatting that I usually see in magazines (fancy background included). It's not much in terms of graphics, but it's a start!
